We are blessed to partner with many wonderful community organizations to help bring heaven to earth here in Hamilton.
TrueCity
TrueCity is a network of congregations in Hamilton who have come together for the good of the city. We share a calling to authentic involvement in our neighbourhoods and across the city, and cultivate real cooperation with other churches on specific projects to be a blessing in Hamilton.
Open Homes
Open Homes connects newly arrived refugee claimants (Guests) to Host homes, where they can stay for up for 4 months. They are supported by people called Companions, who help them get used to life in Hamilton through fun outings, birthday celebrations, assistance at food banks, helping them learn the bus system, etc. The whole Kinship Circle is led by a Kinship Circle Leader, who knows about the systems and resources that the Guest can access and who helps all the communication run smoothly.
Act V
Act Five is an 8-month journey of adventure, service, learning, and mentorship. Live in community, build deep friendships, and grow in faith as you explore your calling and future. Act Five exists to facilitate Christian discipleship by forming young adults into engaged followers of Jesus. They prepare them for life’s next steps—further education, the workplace, church communities or elsewhere.
Cradle & Kind
Formerly The Baby Depot, Cradle & Kind is a registered Canadian charity whose mission is to recycle clothing and essential baby gear and match it to Hamilton and Halton families in need.
