Philpott Student Bursaries
The Philpott Church Bursary Committee aims to support students who are pursuing post-secondary studies and have financial need. We have two bursaries available to qualifying students in post-secondary studies: for Bible College/Seminary (Danby Bursary) or Health Sciences (Smithson Bursary). Our Bursary Committee will consider all applications and recommend that the successful candidates receive support based on need and availability of funds. Amounts may vary based on the number of applications received. Bursaries will be awarded once per school year. After approval by the Board of Elders, a cheque will be made payable to the student.
To qualify, a student must be a member or adherent of Philpott Church, and active in the life and ministry of Philpott. Alternatively, any member or adherent of Philpott who was active in the life and ministry of Philpott before moving away to school, and who still considers Philpott to be their home church.

Applicants must fulfill the below criteria.
An online application may be filled out at any time during the current year but must be submitted by August 15th. An applicant cannot apply more than once in a fiscal year.
Recipients will be approved by August 31st.
The amount available for each bursary will be divided amongst the applicants for that bursary, at the discretion of the Bursary Committee.Cheques will be sent to recipients by mail by October 1st.
